Everyday in class we do a game at the end of class. Today we did family feud and had 2 teams. Each team had to guess the 12 gifts of Christmas. No team got them all correct but my team got the least amount so we had to sing the song out loud in front of the other inmates. ” On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me….. through all 12 gifts. It was pretty funny.
They gave us a gift today from the bureau of prisons, it was a goody bag full of snacks with reeses, snickers, cheesy puffs and a whole box of cinnamon rolls. We also got a bottle of egg nog. It was really nice.
I played soccer today, I hadn’t played in awhile. It was cold out but feels so good once i start playing. It felt better today because I’m alot better shape now too.
They moved some new guys into the carpentry shop with me, they are both from fort Myers and the only other guys from fort Myers in the whole prison. Small world…..
We went on color “red” yesterday which means they are implementing some stricter covid rules. No more contact visit. We have to wear masks again all the time. Nothing extreme for now.
I’m looking forward to a 3 day weekend. I would like to get in a bunch of tennis, good exercise and helps pass time.
I have had alot of friends in here leave this week. Tough seeing good guys go home for me but always its good to see them go home to their families. I have been here 5 months now and I’m already one of the elders here on camp. Guys come and go so fast here its crazy. Every day I see new faces and ask where the old ones went.
